Gasthaus Zur Gruabn - Vienna

Some minutes walking from Wien Mitte station, this Gasthaus offers homemade Austrian dishes and draft beer. We came after 2pm and found the place open and full of locals. Got sited in a non smoking area and the waiter (who was quite good in English)...brought us a menu also in English. Ordered 2 big draft bees, one schnitzel and one stewed liver with potatoes (see photos). Everything was good and served without unnecessary delays. Total paid €22.10! Recommended!

When you see a lot of locals in a restaurant that is a good sign. The Gruabn is no exception in that regard. The staff is very sincere and treats the guests like good old friends. The outside seating is great. The food is hearty....You can choose from a small menu with several local meals. I had the beef salad. It was very good.

Als Freitag Abend-Stammgast seit 22 Jahren darf man die Ganslsaison nicht auslassen! Herrlich gut-wie immer!!

Endlich Parasol! =D Das Essen war super und auch der Service war super! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Hier haben Christian Eckl und Marion Eckl am 22.9.95 ihre standesamtliche Hochzeitsfeier gefeiert. Das Essen war super lecker und es war sehr schön.
