Great food and little pricey for someone heading from work to have a lunch but the food is worth it

We used to really enjoy dining at Bombay Tandoor, but after our recent visit, which had been about a year since our last meal, we're not sure what happened. Perhaps they changed chefs, but the food was disappointing. I ordered spicy Chana masala, and it tasted like the boiled chickpeas were simply added to the pre-cooked masala without any proper cooking together. Additionally, the paneer was excessively sweet. My veg thali was a total letdown; all the vegetables were bland, making it a waste of money.

We have eaten there several times and have noticed a decline in the quality of the food. The service, as always, was excellent and prompt, but I was disappointed with the flavors and preparation of our dishes. I'm not sure if the recipes have changed over time or what, but for what we paid, I expected better.

Decent place for trying out an Indian buffet in Tysons corner area. The menu is extensive and offers a good variety of food from different parts of India. In addition pricing is reasonable for the variety of food provided. The quality of the food is good, not the best but it's a buffet so I'm not going to compare it with a la carte quality. My suggestion would be for the servers to be a bit more professional. It's sometimes hard to understand them even though I'm Indian. They serve the corporate lunch crowd and a good number are not Indian, so if I'm the owner I'd make sure that my servers are not only representing my restaurant but they are representing Indian cuisine. With some training they can improve their serving. Overall, decent place for Indian buffet.

Rude staff. Butter chicken was horrible and when informed to staff, there were making sarcastic remarks. Food quality was not good either. Bad experience. Very impolite staff.
