La Fogata - Victoria de Durango

That was the best dinner in durango. large portions, steak was perfectly cooked, great atmosphere. the service was also excellent.

The steaks are absolutely amazing and they give you a hot plate piled high with them. The service is good and they offer free WiFi to their customers what more could you want. You are served corn and flour tortillas which are given to you...on demand. For a steak plate for three adults the ticket was only 40 dollars with drinks and sides included. A real Gem in northern Mexico. Make sure to try the lemonade.

You have got to try this steakhouse, simply the best in town! Everything in here is excellent, I over-ate because how good the steaks are there! Have to run an extra mile :

An upscale restaurant (for prices and don't eat by ambiente) and so I thought I was safe. I ordered an salad with my steak. the salat was obviously washed in water, and I became ill for the next three days. (and yes, I'm sure I'm gonna say that as a tattoo. there were no other possible food risks, and the timing of the problems was impeccable for about 6 7 hours.) my (solo) bill was us 26 and this is due to Mexican standards a very expensive place . . . so this problem is inevitable. really shocking that they would not use safe water for purifying the salad. avoid!

The rib was dry and overcooked. I asked for medium and it's done well. the quality of the meat was also not very good. it looked like it had been frozen before. not even the baked potato was good. the guacamole was tasteless and the only thing good was the limonade and the gorditas. what a waste of an evening.
