Dosa Paragon - Victoria

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the best South Indian food in Canada is actually being served on the island rather than on the mainland, despite the abundance of restaurants in GVA. Initially skeptical of the 4.7 rating, we were proven wrong after trying the food. Having sampled South Indian cuisine at various places in GVA, I can confidently say that this restaurant is top-notch. While they did make a mistake with the Spicy dosa, the overall quality of the food surpasses that of any other similar restaurant we've visited. The service may be slow, but the delicious food more than makes up for it. I rarely give out 5-star reviews, so this one is definitely worth noting.

This is the first time I have seen Indian cuisine offered in a food court setting. But do not judge this book by its cover! The food at this place is amazing and the flavors are out of this world. A special shout out to the owner (I believe) who went out of his way to set up tables for all 8 of us so we could enjoy our meal together. Thank you, sir! I tried the goat curry and it was absolutely delicious, unlike anything I have tasted at other Indian restaurants. I apologize for not being able to call for takeout the next day, our time was limited, but we would have definitely ordered some for lunch!

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, located right in downtown Victoria. It's a nice independent establishment with very friendly and service-oriented staff. The food is delicious and has me eager to come back for more. Since my initial visit, I have returned multiple times and have never been disappointed. A friend tried the Chicken Korma and said it was the best they had ever tasted. I personally recommend the South Indian combo, although I suggest to the owners that they provide a bit more chutney with it.

Me and my husband visited there yesterday. We tried three items and all were very tasty. I love to have this South Indian food after so long. The staff was so humble and friendly. We will definitely see you again . Thank you

Great South Indian restaurant in Victoria BC. Everything we ordered was of good quality and very tasty. Staff service is commendable. They are polite and the place is neat. Located inside another property this place is a go to restaurant if you are craving Indian food.
