Varsha Indian Kitchen - Victoria

We were there for dinner yesterday and food was really good. We ordered veg pakora, dal tadaka, kadahi paneer recommended by them and malai kofta. Everything was great taste and food quality and rice included with it. We also ordered rotis and it could be better but I was happy to eat great Indian food in Victoria.Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian options available

The mussels were outstanding! We also ordered the butter chicken mild and extra naan. Soo good.

A small restaurant with doors open to the street on quite a warm day; no air conditioning. The service was ok; a bit slow but the manager checked in to try to keep things going. We had the butter chicken poutine butter chicken served over fries. The butter chicken had a very nice flavor, but the fries were limp and, when covered with sauce, just plain soggy. We've had a similar version at an Indian street food restaurant where they used crispy shoestring fries with better results. The Varsha naan was good, and was served with 3 sauces; the chutney was delicious. We also had the lamb curry, which was flavorful. We were there during happy hour, and the bill didn't reflect that, so a whole adjustment was done. All in all if I were going to eat their food again I'd probably prefer to get take out.

Great beef/chicken curry and tandoori chicken. Fresh naan. Also tried the masala fries and yam fries. All fantastic.

Wow, just exceptional food.Best lamb curry I’ve ever had. and I’ve had lamb curry around d the globe… Superb chutney bought some to take home.Can’t wait to eat through the menu, especially the fish.Nice owner, nice staff, lovely ambiance.Perfect location.Recommend this place for families and couples alike. nice cocktails too!
