Poutine 66 - Victoria

The poutine was fantastic! The place needs a little work but the food and service was great! Definitely will go back next time we visit Victoria.

In town for a day trip, bought the Groupon for this place. Honestly, it felt skeevy all around. Staff were uninterested in any semblance of customer service. Then, since we had to bump up our order by $5 to spend the $20 value, we added a caesar salad that we found out was $10 for a tiny container of iceberg lettuce and bottled dressing, packaged croutons, and pre-grated cheese? Poutine was delish though! PS Next to a "dispensary", smell was strong!

We bought a Groupon for take away food only at Poutine 66 as we needed a quick meal in Victoria. Have to say I was quite taken aback by how expensive the menu items were. We had a classic poutine which was made with good basic ingredients - fries, gravy, cheese-curds - but $11 for a large order...ouch. Also, got 10 chicken wings for $12 which turned out to be horrible value as the poor things were so teeny, tiny it was hard to cut any meat off of them. Hard to recommend this place for value but have to admit the poutine was tasty.

This is a former Palagio Pizza outlet that has be renamed. They've been promoting themselves through a group buying website.We went and indulged ourselves in wings and poutine (they still sell pizza). The poutine is good, solid. Not outstanding. Fries are good, gravy is good, curds are good. Not too salty. The chicken wings are among the smallest we've seen though and rather expensive ($1.20 a piece when you order 10) at that. Not bad but hardly anything to eat or even gnaw on. Not bad otherwise.Clientele seems to be a younger grunge type, think a younger Commercial Drive (or Granville St) crowd in Vancouver.Not the worst place to come to if you're in the neighbourhood to visit the two adjacent thrift shops and are a bit hungry.

The Poutine and pizza at this restaurant are fantastic! My husband and I, who are originally from Quebec, have not found a better Poutine anywhere else. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. It's definitely worth the drive from Colwood.
