Lure Restaurant & Bar - Victoria

Very good Happy Hour. We visited Lure several times in the last month and it's always top shelf. Excellent munchies and a great spot to watch the goings on in the harbor. Several superb wait staff and excellent beverages.

Lure offers a great view of the Inner Harbour and has outdoor patio and indoor dining with giant windows, bringing in loads of natural light to its woodsy, casual interior. Prices are typical for a hotel restaurant overlooking the water $23 cheeseburger; $5.50 OJ) and portions are adequate. Service was attentive and the food was fine. There are plenty of restaurants with water views, good service and food so add this to your list. There is complimentary parking in the hotel garage for restaurant patrons the parking code will be on your bill). It was a quiet atmosphere when we dined over the holidays and it's suitable for romantic, business, family and group dining. Kids' menu and Happy Hour menu on offer. Wheelchair-friendly. But if you want more bang for your buck, I'd go somewhere else like at Hartwig Court directly across the water.

We had a 3 night stay and several meals at the restaurant. Above all, great servers, particularly Kayla who went above and beyond and knows her stuff! Good recommendations, special attention, everything you want when you're on that special weekend getaway! Would have given 5 stars but prices a bit high on the appetizer side for portion size.

We live near Ocean Pointe and have enjoyed a few breakfasts and dinners at Lure Restaurant. This morning our service really was exceptional. We were greeted by Joey who exuded energy... he sat us quickly and let us know who our server would be. Our server Katie was professional, efficient and had a natural, friendly way about her. The service has always been good, but today really was a step above. Oh and the food was awesome!!

Good vibe, food okay, very slow for some reason. Went as a group of 7. Service and staff are excellent friendly and efficient but the kitchen can't match it. The place has a great feel, nice atmosphere and great harbour views... pretty busy (in a popular hotel lobby). The food was, well, good but not great. Steak was delicious but tough. Biggest problem though; 7pm arrival... 7:12 order dinners... 8:01 plates arrive. Yes, it was busy, and there were some big groups in the place, but come on.
