Lido Waterfront Bistro & Bar - Victoria

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. We tried the Pulled Pork and it was fantastic. The pizza we ordered had a delicious crust as well.

It can be difficult to find gluten-free options in beautiful Victoria, so I was eager to try Lidos. After a 45-minute walk from my hotel to pick up my pizza, I happily made my way back to my room with the pie in hand. Ignoring the people at other establishments, I felt proud of my purchase. Having been camping for a few days, this was my first taste of civilization and its culinary delights. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I opened the box to reveal the smallest, saddest pizza I had ever seen. The tiny, soggy pizza with a rock-hard crust and wilted basil was a far cry from what I had hoped for. It was so small that it had slid to one corner of the box, almost unnoticed. There was no cheese, just cold, wet sauce. To add insult to injury, they charged an extra $3.50 for the rock-hard crust. I was beyond frustrated.

This place used to be great years ago, but the current staff spend more time chatting with their friends than actually working. The result is it takes over an hour to get a single drink. The service is atrocious. This was not a one-time experience, thishas happened three times in a row. Certainly won?t be back.

The food was tasty, the staff was amazing, and the views were stunning! Despite being understaffed during our dinner visit, the employees were still friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful dining experience!

Came to Lido on our pickle pub tour. This was by far one of the best places we went! The food was fresh and Absolutely delicious. It was like home made out of the kitchen. The drinks were perfectly made. Emily was our waitress and was amazing witha great personality and made sure we had what we needed. I highly recommend this place! The location, the staff, you can?t getany better!
