Gozen Sushi Izakaya - Victoria

Amazing food. wonderful service. I'm going to leave now often that know how good it is!

Absolutely tasty, which is stunning in view of the massive menu! I love the gozen boxes, so fantastic to have this little sorting plate. I will say that the tantanms had me struggling with the heat for my life, so I would recommend it there. the sushi is always fantastic.

Today I had the most delicious Japanese lunch I ever had (and I often had Japanese eating on many different places.) my friend treated me to the birthday in this restaurant that I wanted to visit one already. it was worth waiting. we ordered from the lunch specials menu, a complete page of it. all we have ordered was srumptious, with melt in her mouth sushi and tasting appies I have never tried. she also splashed on the cherry blossom roll, almost too nice to eat. the specials were very valuable and very generous. I can't expect to bring people with me. unpredictable!

It is a really good restaurant, but the owner can Chinese, all dishes have chips, but still with chip dishes.

One of the better places we had dinner while at Victoria. Prices were slightly higher than your usual Japanese place in Vancouver but the service and food quality reflected the prices.We ordered the dynamite roll, California maki, and spicy tuna roll. All were excellent. We also ordered the Yakisoba which I personally found a tad salty but the wife loved it.Recommend you call ahead and make a reservation as we tried to call and they said they were full and only took walk ins. And we got lucky when we got there.There’s also plenty of parking around the restaurant. It’s kid friendly where the provide either a booster seat or a normal kids chair.
