Contribuiți la feedbackThe breakfast buffet at this restaurant is very good. I visited on a Sunday morning and enjoyed options like made-to-order omelettes, bacon, sausages, a self-serve waffle machine, juice, coffee, fruits, cereal, and a smaller selection of baked goods. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. This buffet is available every morning for $19.00.
We began our meal with two orders of Spring Rolls, which were crispy and delicious. We also tried the mushroom soup, which had too much truffle oil for my daughter, but I enjoyed it. The soup was very rich. For our main course, I ordered the duck and found it to be excellent, despite being rarer than expected. The ginger/yam purée it was served on was also delicious. My husband had the fish and chips from the daily menu, which he thought were just okay. We indulged in a chocolate mousse for dessert, although it was quite rich. I recommend saving room for it if you have a sweet tooth. My husband loved the apple tart. The service was excellent, but it should be noted that we knew the staff. The only drawback was the lack of customers, as the restaurant seemed deserted apart from hotel guests. This place would benefit from some marketing, as it is a hidden gem for a night out. It would be a great spot to visit before heading to the downtown theaters.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I recently went for the Dine Around dinner and every course was perfect. Our waiter, Peter, was very knowledgeable and personable. If you enjoy fine food, you must visit this place.
I ate the prime rib dinner and my wife had a 3 course special menu(the chef is competing to be the best on Vanisle). Ate in the bar, bartender is great. Food is always great. Dont bother with the restaurant side. Room is nothing special. If you want great meat, go here.
Nice To Eat In Lounge.. We have dined for lunch in the lounge on a number of occassions. Their savory clam chowder is delicious, rich and creamy. Their salads fresh and tasty. I wish they would bring back their seafood bouillabaisse, this was one of my favorites. Oh yeah, don't go to watch a hockey game there, they won't turn up the volume on the TV and the bar stools are set strategically in front of the TV, so if you are sitting at a table and someone decides to occupy the bar stools, you are S.O.L.
