Cafe Mexico - Victoria

Mexican is by far our favorite cuisine, so we have tried every mexican restaurant we have come across. We were really disappointed with the food here. The margaritas were amazing (but expensive), and the melted cheese appy we had was awesome. However the main courses were really disappointing. We wont be back.

The food was hot and tasted amazing, prices on point and the server was cheerful but not fake or dismissive. We had an amazing time especially with the wonderful margaritas :) we will be back !

The best part of Cafe Mexico is the mezcal selection. The attitude to mezcal is definitely changing and it was great to be in a restaurant that is celebrating it. We were given the option of sitting at the bar which was great since we love dining at the bars of restaurants. You get to have a chat with the bartender who is usually very knowledgable of the beverage selection, and the bartender who was working did not disappoint. The food was good. We had the queso fundido, corn, and wild mushrooms which were delicious. I was a little disappointed with the taco which was a little boring in my opinion. Overall, I would definitely recommend an evening (or lunch) at Cafe Mexico.

Service was excellent - turned up with family of 6 all hungry - they jumped to getting starters - mains were all very good - chimichangas were excellent Guacamole was all fresh

The only trouble I had here was picking just one lunch! The food is amazing, menu selection is fantastic, atmosphere and location are great and prices are good! Would definitely go back if in Victoria again!
