Contribuiți la feedbackDuring the cold month of January, I found myself making my way to Cabot Shores where dining became a highlight of my trip. Prior to my visit, the owners, Paul and Barbara, asked me about my dietary preferences, which I found to be very friendly. Despite falling into the picky eater category with my aversion to certain foods, I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating they were. Barbara, a talented Swiss woman, created creative and delicious dishes that made each meal an unforgettable experience. From the cauliflower-Cheddar cheese bisque to the homemade veggie tacos and wheat-free pasta with a meat-free sauce, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The use of fresh, local ingredients added a special touch to the meals, and I was impressed to learn that Cabot Shores grows their own vegetables in the warmer months. The hospitality at Cabot Shores was second to none, and I enjoyed genuine, healthy meals prepared with love in their kitchen. Barbara’s intuitive cooking style made the dishes healthy, hearty, creative, and delicious. I look forward to returning to Cabot Shores in Cape Breton for their exceptional meals, whether vegetarian or not. Bon appétit!
We chose to dine at this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but were disappointed to find out that their staff was not knowledgeable about vegan options despite advertising themselves as vegan-friendly. This experience was quite disappointing and I doubt I would return. Luckily, I was able to find vegan food at other local restaurants nearby.
My wife, my colleague, and I had a fantastic vegetarian meal at Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort. The owners, Paul and Barbara, were very friendly and the food was delicious. We highly recommend visiting Cape Breton Island to experience their excellent bistro.
In the cold months of the january I made myself on the way to cabot shores and the eating was a highlight. before my visit the owners asked me paul and barbara about the phone what my nutritional preferences were, what I thought was very friendly. yes, I fall into the pick-iron web, where weeping sensitivity and fish-only point. but such specialties were greeted with open poor. how unusual! barbara is a beautiful Swiss woman who pumped out creative, delicious dishes- each meal was an ah-ha moment. saw the cauliflower-Cheddar cheese bisque? I still dream of it at night. of self-made veggie tacos (homemade bean pastes, a buffet of interesting ingredients, and a series of fabulous sauces) to baked silice cakes, wheat-free pasta delicious meat-free sauce, and similar to black walnut notes or pumpkin cookies dessert? it was appetizer, main, dessert and full-out service. eating is made with heart, as fresh local ingredients are used as much as possible. I found out that cabot shores grows in the warmer months all their own vegetables and crumbling in the garden outside. as beautiful, especially the hospitality from this world was. on a place so relaxed and without front I enjoyed real, healthy meals that were absolutely their own kitchen. it seems that barbara has an inner sense, and I like that. eating is healthy, hearty, ceratiw and tasty. I regret every (vegetarian or nay) stop from cabot shores the next time they are in cape breton! bon appetite.
