I agree with deesims review Fun but disagree with VRdowntown milkshakes are amazing I suppose if you like your milkshakes so thin they can be stirred with a flimsy straw you might consider Boardgame Cafe's milkshakes amazing but I prefer mine with some substance. Their...milkshakes were the only disappointment though. The melty goodness of large chocolate chip cookies is heavenly... grab a napkin. A dish of, what in my childhood was called penny candy, candy is plenty to share and possibly even take some home. The smell of popcorn in the air was very tempting but I was able to resist. The staff is amazing. What a great collection of people. They serve up the treats with a smile, make great game recommendations and even teach you how to play if you don't know the rules. A game they aren't familiar with? Give them a little time and they'll figure it out. : Apparently Saturday late morning to early afternoon they set up a slot car track!

Have been wanting to go to the Boardgame Cafe forever and finally made it! We went with another couple who had been before. Played two rounds of a great fun game called Zooloretto and laughed a lot! We also had SUPER YUMMY milkshakes and one of the best panini style sandwiches I have ever enjoyed! I didn't expect that to be the case, went more for the game and atmosphere but wow - love that Bill's Bird, with turkey breast, brie cheese, apple and cranberry. Cannot wait for another chance to go back again!

My husband and I were going to try to see a movie but we were too late so we ended up heading over to this game board cafe. It was a blast! They have over 700 games you can play and lots of treats to choose from. I had a fresh baked cookie and my husband a bowl of candy. It was only $5 per person to play for as long as we wanted to. Great value! Best part was there is no liquor served here so it is very family friendly (unless you get a group of people who like foul language). Definitely a place to visit.

For CAD pp. anything you spend on drinks) you get to try out a wide variety of games, anything from card games for to family friendly stuff and long strategic board games. Luckily the staff is more than willing to give you...recommendations! Bonus: if you can't get enough of the game, they might just have it in stock in the shop... Wonderful way to spend a relaxed afternoon or evening, especially when the weather is looking grim. Wish there was a place like this in my hometown!
