Ayo Eat - Victoria

This Indonesian takeout spot in downtown Victoria's scenic Market Square offers a decent selection of dishes. We tried the Salad Rolls and Chicken Satay with rice and peanut sauce, which were just okay in terms of flavor.

Delicious fusion of Indonesian and Thai street food. The restaurant has open outdoor tables with cover in the courtyard. The proprietor and chef are both fantastic. We headed over to Green Cuisine restaurant for ice cream afterwards.

I have never had Indonesian food as good as this, even in Indonesia! You must try the Nasi Campur Telur Sambal, served with a friendly smile from the owner. Now that Whistle Buoy has opened in Market Square, you can enjoy this delicious meal with a beer. It doesn't get much better than that!

Loved the food here! Had a prawn curry thing that was spicy, really liked it. So did my baby (she loves prawns and surprisingly spice), no seating but in market square so we made it work.

Ayo has some of the very best food in Victoria a small menu- but the food is incredibly delicious. The chicken satay with spicy peanut sauce, coconut rice and bright pickled veg is my favorite. Highly recommend.
