I'm coming back. the quality of food surpasses those of other Indian restaurants with more ambiant settings.
We stay for a month in sight royal area and noticed amrikkos restaurant on our tour round. we made a reservation, but I don't think we needed one because it wasn't very busy. there were four of us and we ordered the traditional. Curry sauce with lamb, butter huh and naan. we did not eat there, but the service was good. there is no alcohol that served the server was very young, so maybe something had to do with it. all our meals were very good they were hot and tasty. at the conclusion of the meal was great, service was in order and we will definitely return.
My family loves Indian food and we often came here to take it. Unfortunately, we noticed a change in food and services, perhaps due to new administration. we've ordered ourselves for a family of four before, so I know what the portion. one day we had only one request for naan and requested 1 order naan for the pick-up as snack, which we have already made at home dinner.) the person who works there did not appreciate this clearly. not only were we overloaded $3,50 after controlling, in contrast to $2 of the listed price on their menu,) we have a piece naan in the half. we have already given them so much of our business in the past, but this was simply dishonest and we will never go back here again.
Good food, good portions. the management is extremely rude and the service is under the standards. this place was once great, went downhill. there are much better options for Indian food in the opposite.
We used to come to Amrikkos quite often but had not been in about a year. What a change and, I'm sad to say, not for the better. We always enjoyed our meals here but the food is now bland, the service is very haphazard...(verging on disinterested) and they have no liquor licence. It was also very cold! We all had to keep our coats on throughout our meal. We could not really relax even though it was a birthday dinner because we were all too chilly. The only reason we stayed, after realizing how cold everyone was, was because we've always enjoyed the food. We had a hard time differentiating between our supposedly different dishes and one of them was lukewarm... We did not get the impression our server was particularly interested in whether we stayed or went and we had to ask several times for drinks and our order of naan. When we were paying at the front (no table service for payment), the proprietor (we assumed) did ask us whether we had enjoyed our meal. By then, it was really too late. We are not likely to be back.
