Anchorage Seafront Hotel

Great food, Great service! Arrived for lunch, staff friendly and helpful, extremely quick serviceMenu good, food excellent.

We returned to the Anchorage recently as we've had beautiful meals there in the past. Unfortunately, this time it was not the case. While the front of house staff were lovely and reasonably efficient there must have been problems in the kitchen. We both had very ordinary meals which should've been delicious and paid full restaurant prices for them when they were definitely not worth it. We left wishing we'd gone to the local supermarket and bought a frozen meal to put in the microwave in the motel. Very disappointed.

We took relatives from NZ for lunch and were not disappointed with the menu , our choice of meals and our dining experience.One in the group has a medical condition affecting their swallowing but the staff were wonderful in consulting the chef to adapting the soup of the day to the right consistency . We were all very impressed with the attention, service and delivery of the dish for them and ours too.Thanks to all the staff for a most enjoyable lunch and friendly service.

We were here for lunch and sat by the window with a great view of the SteamRanger train activity at the station. We were also near the door and heard one lady going out say:”That was really yummy!”. There were plenty of nice options on the menu. But she definitely could have been talking about the chowder we both had, me main size and my wife entrée size, served with sour dough toast. Our pot of tea was very good too.It was crowded but the wait and costs were reasonable and the service friendly.

We enjoyed our meal here we had a seafood chowder it was yummy . we had another time for morning scones with jam cream
