Bourbon's - Vicksburg

I'm a foodie, and I had mixed expectations about this place since we were passing through. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food was absolutely terrible, and anyone who claims otherwise is seriously misguided and probably hasn't traveled beyond this small town. I ordered the scampi, and it was a joke—imagine Campbell's chicken noodle soup watered down with soggy noodles and previously frozen tiny shrimp. My Caesar salad was a mere four bites and cost $13! It seems like they're trying to cut costs (pun intended, since it's located on the Mississippi River). I definitely cannot recommend this place.

The host who seated us was friendly and returned to take our drink order when no one else had come over. Thank you for that! However, after waiting 20 minutes without seeing anyone to take our food order, we decided to leave our money on the table and walk out. This was surprising, especially since the restaurant was not busy at all. I won’t be returning.

It was our first visit to this restaurant, and I have to say, I have no complaints. The place was very clean, and the staff was friendly. My husband ordered the salmon while I had the filet; we shared both dishes, and they were fantastic! Our server, Kaylor Little, was attentive and welcoming. Overall, a great dining experience! Meal type: Dinner; Price per person: $50–100.

I wouldn't recommend it. The food and service quality are lacking. It's better to save your money. Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 3.

I'm really glad I didn't rely on the reviews here, or I would have missed out! I visit many steakhouses across the country, and while I wouldn't categorize this as a traditional steakhouse, it's an incredible value for the price! I've been here twice, and both times the steak was cooked perfectly! The quality of the beef isn't the highest, but the cooking technique is spot on! The service is decent—I've experienced better, but I've also had worse. The wine prices are amazing! While they may not offer top-tier wines, the selection is good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back! I apologize for not taking any pictures.
