Contribuiți la feedbackAtmosphere and food of the 80's, within the German society club of gymnastics in olive trees, this restuarant offers a very varied option of free buffet, which consists of a fria table with typical dishes of the 80's, but some German or European specialties such as the herrings (actually they are latches made of herrings,) papa salads, some seafood (mejillones) and many others. To hot you have grill option, that what I tried was very good, like the bondiola of pork and the pechito, and then you can order from the letter an interesting offer of European meals such as the famous goulash, German sausages, lomo strogonoff, several pastas, curry chicken, etc. In general the food is good, for my goulash goulash was very well cooked, with the very tender meat, home spatzel very well made, but the salsa lacked goo and some beak, I doubt they have heard paprika, it must be a pimentos and not very spicy. The same is the curry chicken we also tried, without much thanks.Very good German sausage with chucrut. The best thing for me is the dessert table, all very traditional, such as apple strudel, cheesecake, black jungle, floating island with sambayon (very good realmetne) lemon foot, various ice creams, tiamisu (too good), and huge pots of cream, sweet milk, red fruits to freely add to any of the chosen desserts. really excellent. The price is fixed (in July 2017 it was $400 per person) does not include drink, but there are drinks of 2 liters. Summing up, a place to go in group, to eat a lot, and keep for desserts that are excellent.
The aesthetic is typical of a neighborhood club: simple and easy. The attention is very good. there is a buffet or menu option. We opted for the second and it was worthwhile. the goulash with very good szpaetzl and also sausages with chucrut. dessert I recommend cheesecake with red fruits. ideal to go in winter.
The place has excellent reviews, it's undeniable and maybe last night the kitchen didn't have its best night. I had a free buffet but I wanted to eat a la carte. I ordered some sausages with German potatoes and chucrut and a spaetzle goulash. the potatoes were missing, the chucrut was fine and the dish came hot. the score under those for the goulash. in this kind of place, I hope they will serve me an excellent goulash. It happened the opposite. The spaetzle were past, the sauce had no taste. the meat was tender but the flavor that rounded the dish was not. dessert we ask floating island, tasty though sambayon is usually served hot, and in this case it was cold. the German bar has far the best goulash (although it has a trap the spaetzle, which blow it with the incredible flavor they have) , they continue to dovar tek in san telmo and the hungary club in olive trees. this one I tried last night is to forget. I guess the buffet with a lot of food can become something to take advantage of, but I look for quality on the dishes.
The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, several tables of friends and families. We opt for the free food option from the list that delivers printed with which you access an interesting amount of options as well as the cold buffet, grill and dessert table. Reasonable variety, good quality and fresh. We'll definitely be back.
I met steinhauser when this one had his roticery about irigoyen a meters of av sra faith in Martinez....even more, it was the one who prepared the service of my marriage. It is a pleasure to have found it, although the delicacy of the food of those times, possibly by the Argentine inflationary is no longer the same.
