At first glance, this restaurant had promise. It was quite full at lunchtime, had a set menu and is well appointed. I visited with colleagues for a business lunch and we sat on the upper floor as it was packed down below and all was nice and airy. The set menu was varied and I opted for the calamari with mussels followed by the beef steak. The service seemed quite slow but our first course arrived with the tinniest calamaris I have seen and I said to my colleague they reminded me of spaghetti hoops! However, there was a good serving of them and they were in a light batter so not all was bad. The calamari shared the plate with the mussels and this is where the salt comes into it. Yes they were nice and yes I finished them off but damn, the overwhelming taste of salt was a little too much. This was kept at bay drinking water! The next course, a beef steak served medium (a little too near to well done for me) looked very appetising but as I dug into it, a large piece of salt and fat. Not nice at all but again, finished with the help of water. I would not choose to come back here, I can see their plan and anything that relies on salt for taste does not make it into my book.
Mai multOn this occasion we have eaten the menu, saladilla, open tortilla and squid rice and some coconut ice creams. I can say, we've been satisfied with both the food and the kindness of all the room staff. on another occasion not far away, we will return to my wife and me, and we will prove the letter, which we are sure will be sensational.
Mai multUna maravilla, la calidad, el servicio y la rapidez. He parado por casualidad en Vic pues voy dirección Burg y me he encontrado con esta grata sorpresa. Un 10!
