They had their pizza oven set up at the front of the restaurant and after watching the pizza maker for a bit we decide to try them as they looked so good. We were not dissappointed. They were delicious. Worth stopping for lunch. They are along the water front.
We were looking for a nice place to have two traditional dishes where nothing could go wrong. My wife and I took fish soup as we love this traditional dish from the south. Soup tasted little fish and the worst was the traditional garlic sauce you always get. The cook had decided to make his own sauce, almost without garlic and tasteless. Terrible. The next plate for me was Moules marinière, so I really thought this was not a brain. Hélas, again the cook had made his own recipe, this time with a slim « fumé » sauce that looked open like snorkel directly out of the nose! The shells were a mixture of hatch warm and cold. I sent everything back to the kitchen. Terrible again. My wife enjoyed her Dorade Grillé but was still hungry as she was served only one fillet instead of two as it said on the menu! She actually asked if she could have French fries and vegetables, but the owner said it wasn't possible - we're not used to reject anything, even if we had paid for getting some vegetables. When I went to pay, still hungry natural, the young waitress did an excellent job by cried over the cook, so he could explain why mussel soup was not good. He only defended that no one had complained about his recipe and that he had offered it to reheat it. I explained when I order moules marinières I expect to get exactly that, and warm obviously - not a cold snorkel soup that in such a case he would have called "moules à la Chef" for cold snorkeling lovers! The owner heard the conversation with a smile. I thanked the waitress for her professional attitude and we quickly left the place never to come back again!
