Pizzo - VIAREGGIO

This was one of the few pizza places open before 7pm, so we stopped there while on a short train layover. We were starving and looking for a quick bite, but what we didn't expect was this to be some of the best pizza we had on our entire trip to Italy. The flavor and texture was perfect and the staff had warm and welcoming attitude. We ended up coming back to Viareggio a few days later so we could eat at Pizzo again.

Stopped on our way through town and found this place on a whim. Turned out to be some of the best pizza we've had in Italy. Amazing crust, very light and crispy all the way through. The ingredients were perfect. Very affordable as well. In America this pizza could be double the price. Great service by the family owned company who take great pride in their work. I can't recommend it enough! After our travel plans changed we decided to come back to Viareggio largely because of Pizzo'. Ciao

One of the best pizzas I've ever tried! The ingredients are top-quality, very tasty! Very big choice of pizza in different forms. Fast service (except busy days, which happens often), very nice owners!! Definitely recommend and would love to come back to this place and this city one day!!
