This restaurant serves good unpretentious food. The service is polite, friendly and efficient. It’s always packed in evening so book ahead. Frequented by locals. Prices are average. It’s a great place to people watch. The desserts are average but mains are well cooked and there’s a wide selection.

Whilst not the best food we ate during 9 days in Tuscany, it was still good, and the setting is even better. Lovely to be sat out on the main promenade, perfect for people watching and soaking up the lovely atmosphere of Viareggio.

We ate here thanks to a recommendation from our bagno manager (Stefano). We were not disappointed. Good food. Many menu options. My frittura mista di pesce was great. My mate's risotto was quite satisfying. Great service. Reasonable prices, especially for its beachfront location. Nice wine selection. Very glad we listened to Stefano.

Consiglio il Ponce alla livornese. A mio parere, migliore di quello di Livorno. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e camerieri simpatici e cortesi....
