Despite the place which seems very shabby, I had the best Bifana of Portugal ! Also bread and jam was delicious. Hope you will give the bar a chance ! Price cheap and with respect to sever food I would say very cheap !!! Enjoy

Simple roadside cafe, with little or no space inside. packed outside though and for good reason. Brilliant basic local food, served in big portions by a happy chappy with a lot of tables to serve. Fried squid, locally caught rabbit and bacalhau all tasty and great value at 7 euros for each big portion. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don't drive past because it looks a bit down at heel. Give it a go. It's well worth it.

We had the good fortune to stumble on this restaurant after spending the morning visiting Evora. The service was warm and efficient, the food home-cooked, delicious, abundant, and reasonably priced. I should add that the waiter went to great lengths to explain each dish to us in Spanish and English (we don't speak Portuguese, unfortunately) and showed genuine concern that we made the right choice from the variety of traditional dishes on offer. All in all, a real find, so if you're looking for a non-pretentious, good-value meal while in Evora, you'll find it here. We'll definitely go back.
