Johnny's New York Style Pizza

This was my first and probably my last visit to Johnny's NY Pizza. Well of course it's not NY Pizza, I would know, I'm from NY, Heyyyy fahgetaboutit! Their Pizza was ok. I asked for certain items not on my pizza and it came with it. the service was dry and I hate asking for refills, I want to be able to say, I'm good for now. I prefer having options to watch on several tvs, and with so many tvs, they were only on 3 channels. Overall, I gave it 3 stars because the Pizza was tasty.

I arrived at 10:41 to order one slice of pizza to go . Once I entered the staff told me they were closed, once checking the location hours on the door it stated they closed at 11. I walk back in and the staff stated they stop accepting orders at 10:30 . When I inquired if this was posted on the website or in the store the staff informed me “ it’s just their policy” . I do not believe this to be true they just planned to leave early . Once leaving I observed 4 other possible patrons attempt to enter and turned away . This was a horrible experience.

I walked into this establishment tonight, intending to spend a lot of money for food for my family to take home. I am gluten intolerant, and I wanted a doughless Johnny's deluxe, but because it was after 5, they said I could only have 2 toppings. I decided to take our business elsewhere. We are local, and for the last 5 years, we have been coming to this location it often is disappointing for the money we spend.

Very disappointed with our meal today. We arrived at 3 pm and left at 5pm. The place wasn’t busy and yet took us over an hour to get our food to which we 4 gals that had the cajun pasta received cold and mushy. The guys pizza and Stromboli was awesome they said and hot. I told the waitress it’s not her fault and tipped her well but gave some advice for next folks who ordered the pastas that also had no flavor and was watered down with sauce only. She did take off a pasta after we told her that one person wasn’t even wanting to take home leftovers and didn’t touch hers. I do appreciate that. It shouldn’t take 2 hours to get our food tho and cold at that
