Trattoria Dal Taio - VERONA

This is one of the most unique Restaurant I ever visited! —Food and Wine Cave— This is a place where you must go if you ever plan your visit to Verona! A place that is located in a cave with a proper design inside! The staff is incredibly friendly and their food is very unique! They are very famous for their meat! It’s actually a meat Restaurant! So be sure here you will taste one of the best meat around! I had a steak, some pasta and a Beef Tartare as a starter! From all of this I especially enjoyed the Beef Tartare, think this one, was one of the best tartare i ever had! Even this is a meat restaurant i would say that their deserts are the same good like the meat is! Very nice look and a corresponding taste! By the way I had a chance to meet the Restaurant Owner, very nice and lovely guy! He did serve our table when we were celebrating my mother’s birthday! Conclusion: The place is unique, food is tasty, rich wine selection, the staff is extremely friendly! Many thx for an unforgettable dinner! Recommend this place to everyone who likes to try something new and unusual! P.S. Before visiting this place don’t forget to request a reservation!!! Oh and yeah.... The most important thing is... THE RESERVATION HAS TO BE DONE AT LEAST 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE

Lovely family owned restaurant in a cosy setting. The food was brilliant as was the wine pairing.

È la seconda volta che ho l'opportunità di pranzare o cenare in questa meravigliosa trattoria, dove la cucina è ricercata e utilizza materie prime di eccellente qualità. Il patrono David e la sua brigata vi accolgono e vi accompagnano in un viaggio di sapori con grande professionalità e gentilezza. La cantina è davvero entusiasta... Se siete amanti del buon vino, dovete assolutamente andare (si consiglia di prenotare, soprattutto per la cena, perché è sempre piena). Una menzione speciale va alla camera intima ricavata all'interno di una grotta... fantastica! Sicuramente la mia trattoria preferita a Verona!

Non ho mai espresso il mio giudizio con tanta convinzione come oggi. Un luogo caldo e accogliente, con un servizio pieno di passione e amore. Cibo? Un'estasi di sapori accompagnata da una straordinaria vista sulla vallata. Tornerei 10, 100 volte. Prezzi? Assolutamente giusti per la qualità e il servizio offerti. Come si fa a non visitarlo? Si mangiano salumi tipici umbri, ma avendo frequentato l'Umbria e la Toscana, ho assaggiato di meglio. La costata era discreta, nulla di trascendentale. Non ho provato i primi piatti. Ottime e ricercate le etichette dei vini. Cibo: 3 Servizio: 5 Atmosfera: 3
