San Nicolo Wine - VERONA

We spent a while trying to find a good wine bar and stumbled across this one. We are so glad that we did as the staff made us feel so welcome and it was an incredible place with extremely cheap prices. Definitely a must visit and I’d recommend that you go on recommendations as the owner really knows his local wines.

We popped in for a drink because we'd seen excellent drinks on tripadvisor. The host/bar staff didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, so we didn't feel immediately welcomed by the staff. The processo, however, was the best I tasted in Verona; it was very, very good. It wasn't clear what snacks/nibbles were on offer to eat as we weren't brought any menus and the staff were packing away food in the display fridge, even though the bar didn't appear to be closing.

If you're a wine lover this is place you can't miss. A stone throw from the Arena San Nicolo' wine bar has got a selection of superb local wines. If you don't know them that well let Emiliano, the barman, to advise you. You're in safe hands!

We found this accidentally. Great selection of local wines. They offer by the glass individually or in flights. We got to have small tastes before picking my three wines from n the flight. Prices are very fair I would come back again.

You like to have a good cup of coffee, a small lunch with healthy food or an excellent choice of good wine in a cosi athmosphere then San Nicolas‘ wine bar is the right place. The staff is very friendly and you should not miss the aperitivo as of 11 am.
