The Original Mama Mia’s Kitchen

Visited for dinner, Chef owner was off the night, which showed I think. Calamari were under cooked and bit oily. Our 3 dinners were very basic, and lacked flavor. I had Veal marsala, 3 small medallions, too small in my view, and total lack of red wine flavor, just mushrooms. Tiramisu was very blend as well. Pity, since service is nice but needs back up with high quality food, as lormrs of competition out there in same category.

My first time here and I had the fish of the day which was a poached mahi-mahi in a broth with pasta and shrimp. We ordered an appetizer of stuffed clams which were excellent! A house salad with balsamic dressing and garlic knots were also served with our meal!

We moved from the Hollywood area in florida, where we used to go to the mama mia’s, which was great. the location in vero beach says it is connected to the Hollywood location; I don't think it's a comparison. the good in vero was good and plentiful and the ambiente and the appearance was very good, but something was missing. the service was simply ok, as the waitress had difficulty, boards due to the table set up for the six of us in a bad location. she offered one dessert the Italian cheesecake, which was very good, but no other. that we wanted to cappucino and she told us it was not available because they did not have a machine; not their fault, but not acceptable for an Italian restaurant. I would choose another restaurant next time.
