Italian Grill - Vero Beach

We went here for a birthday dinner. There were 5 adults and 3 teens. The table would have been just right for 6 people. The server was very friendly but rushed and all over the place. We had a variety of food, some tasted packaged, and other dishes tasted fresh, but had that microwaved or sat under the heat lamp too long texture. The food overall was 3 stars (good) The service was 2.5-3 stars... ie, we got the food. The atmosphere was acceptable. The cost was $259... 2 apps, 5 entrees, 3 root beers, and 5 glasses of wine. Water refills came only after repeated requests. I went to the hostess station and paid the check and tip. When I returned to the table, a single slice of chocolate cake was ordered for the birthday person... then a check was brought for the single slice of birthday cake! Nearly $300 for ok dinners, barely acceptable service... then charged for a single slice of Sysco cake! Would I recommend this restaurant? There's nothing special, and it certainly wouldn't be my first choice as a recommendation. We travel far more than the average couple and eat in restaurants ~8 times a week.

This is possibly the best Italian food I have ever had. Large menu with a ton of options, everything our party got was fresh and authentic. This is a place where you can sense the love that is put into each dish. This will definitely be on the list for repeat visits when we are in Vero.

We have been to the Italian Grill many times. They have consistently provided quality great tasting food and good service. Though this is true for us and I’m sure many others, there is another aspect of our visits that makes this place a real treasure for us. My wife has a service dog. Though all restaurants and other public places are required by law to receive guests with service dogs the same as every other guest, some do not. We are grateful to Italian Grill for being respectful. Thank you for great food, great service AND being knowledgeable and friendly with regard to my wife’s needs. Ciao for now. We will be back!

Only a short wait and the staff and our waitress was very efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and obviously freshly cooked to order. A large menu. There is a wine menu as well the desserts were very good. You can eat inside or out depending on your choice and the weather of course.

Had a really nice dinner with my Great Aunt and Great Uncle. Waitress was very polite and made sure to accommodate my Great Aunt's food allergy. Food was delicious and well worth the short 20-30 minute wait, which they explain right on the menu. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Vero Beach.
