Contribuiți la feedbackI went to this restaurant for lunch today and was very disappointed. The shrimp tostados were a letdown - I couldn't even cut the shrimp because they were so tough. The menu described them as "grilled," but all the shrimp, including the "grilled" ones, were served on cold, previously fried bowls. Even the salsa was ice cold, although it tasted okay. Everything seemed to come straight from the fridge. The server was not at fault, as they did their best, but it seems like the management needs to improve their food preparation.
The food was delicious, though it was quite pricey. It's the perfect spot for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries.
The service was slow. The prices were high, but then again everything is now. Jambalaya was good. Chickenburgers and contained fries were not good. All rolls, no meat. Fries were unusable. It tasted like they were fried in dirty or divided cooking oil. I tried to get to the restaurant so they were aware, but unfortunately they don't accept an email, so that's what they get. An unsatisfied customer who does not return.
We came to another couple for birthday dinner and were very disappointed with the food and service. The service was slow and they gave us the food and beverage specialties for the next day, which did not pass very well. The food was... average, but plentiful and quite expensive for what it was.
I recently visited Kelly O’Bryan’s in Vernon for a pint of Guinness and a meal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed once again as the quality of the pint was poor. It seems like they don’t have the taps fully open, resulting in a slow pour. I won’t be ordering a pint of Guinness from them again. I checked with the staff, who confirmed that it should be a two pour pull. I recommend going to the Kelowna or West Kelowna locations for a better pint of Guinness. As someone who lives in Lake Country, it’s just as easy for me to go to either town.
