Real Urban Barbecue

This has to be one of the most overrated BBQ spots in all of Illinois. Barely any smoke flavor or rings on any of the meats. The ribs were decent, burnt ends werent fork tender, and the barbecue wings were completely covered in sauce almost like the wings weren't made to order and the sauce was just to warm them up.

Stopped in for lunch and got the brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket was good, but could have been a bit juicier. The fries were really short like they were leftovers in the bottom of the basket. They still tasted good, just an odd serving. Both accounts may be that I came in after the usual lunch crowd.

Missing two side dishes and I had paid extra for one of them.

Nice place of the selection of sauces only had the barbecue brisket the sides are wonderful best brisket I have had

Great place for BBQ! Only thing I would recommend is when you weight the BBQ to have a scale that the customer can see the weight!?
