Smokey's Tavern - Vernon

I hadn't visited the restaurant in two years because the food was unsatisfactory and honestly quite terrible. However, I decided to check it out again to see if a new chef had taken over. I approached my meal with some hesitation tonight, but I'm glad I did! The food was flavorful and fresh. The new chef really understands the local tastes and is open to customizing the menu based on our requests. I'm definitely coming back! I encourage everyone to give it another try!

We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve. It was quite crowded, but the seating was spaced out, which made for a comfortable experience. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We really enjoyed the food and Doug's service was excellent. The pizza was probably our least favorite dish, but the wings were large and tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are very friendly. The chicken wings with dingo sauce were excellent, and the crispy margherita pizza topped with fresh mozzarella was delicious. Highly recommended!

New management, new cook. great food. higher prices when it is quality food. I have the sliced prime rib sandwich. very good!

This was the first time at Smokey’s Tavern with the new owners. The hamburger was to die for and the roasted Brussels sprouts came with it. I also got their salad to take home and it had apple cider vinaigrette on it. We also got pizza which is a flat bread pizza. Everything was delicious I recommend you go there with the kids to enjoy a fun atmosphere. The brick oven cook came over and asked how everything was and I gave him a thumbs up.
