A most needed and pleasant rest on our ride from Lecce to Borgagne on a blistering hot cycle ride. The friendly and welcoming lady owner made my day by having a nice cold Leffe in the fridge, a perfect boost for the final 15km!

This quiet family-run restaurant in this quiet square in this small tranquil town near Lecce in Puglia is just what was needed to refuel ourselves during our cycle from Otranto to Lecce! Although we arrived late in the afternoon looking for lunch, the proprietor was gracious and prepared scrumptous salads and sandwiches, cheeses and drinks with efficiency and good humour. If you are in the neighbourhood, don't miss it!

While visiting Acaya, I fell in love with this place. Great atmosphere and very welcoming people. Highly recommended!!

Ask for the local ice cream, it’s delicious! And great outdoor seating at the entrance of the city walls beautiful view.
