Baristas are friendly, the coffee is pretty good and it's quiet enough to think. You'll also come out spending a dollar or two less than a Starbucks.Kid-friendliness: They have a few board games to keep both kids and adults occupied.Parking: Street parking. Not bad unless there's an event in town.

As soon as you walk in you see an entire wall of coffee beans that you can bag and buy, which I thought was really cool. They are super kid friendly, with an entire kids play section and a big train playset (giant table checkers for us older kids).I ordered a s'mores cappuccino and it was very well made and tasted like the espresso and milk were both fresh. I also grabbed two muffins (blueberry and chocolate chip) and they were a decent size and freshness. Between the three products I spent around $10.The staff was very friendly and upbeat and the area was clean and organized. My only complaint is that it is not stroller accessible. Will definitely be back.

Visiting Vermillion, OH and needed a good cup of coffee before my meeting. I found brewed awakening via a google search and stopped in because it was only 5 minutes from the office. The staff was friendly and the menu consisted of all types of coffee/tea drinks and breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel and a caramel mocha iced latte. My order was ready quickly and I was on my way to work. The bagel looked a little over cooked when I opened it. However, when I bit into it, it was still soft and flavorful. The iced latte was the perfect blend of caramel flavor and a hint of sweetness. I will be back when in the area.

It's within walking distance to the beach, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some sunshine. The staff always greet you with friendly smiles and positive vibes. Located in a cute downtown area, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Overall rating for the food is 5 out of 5.
