Les Orchidees Restaurant - Verdun

If you're touring the WWI battlefields, treat yourself to a lunch at this wonderful restaurant in Verdun. You will not be disappointed. Excellent food and service.

This pleasant dining room is attached to the hotel. The service was very professional with the servers really working hard to make their guests happy. There are a number of prix fixe menus which are very good. We ate well and even indulged in a dessert. Delicious. The wines were also very well chosen. I thought that the cost for three was very reasonable

I ate here because it was so convenient the night I arrived. Since it turned out to be very good, I went on another night. Probably the best aspect of staying at Les Orchidees.

Whilst staying in the hotel we visited the restaurant rather than heading into the town to get something to eat! They gave us and English menu as our French translation wasn't great! Some great choices on the menu I had the duck in honey, it was lovely there just wasn't enough! My mother had the spaghetti Bolognese and there was loads and it was very filling! My father had a smoked salmon salad and again an ample portion! Followed by some delicious puddings!

Warm welcome, the hotel owner will be happy to help you program your stay in memory of hairy tombs for France. The hotel is sober but comfortable, the bar will allow you to find atypical products and the restaurant and its chef will surely treat you!!!! Go see your eyes closed.
