Typical Lombardy food served by a very nice staff. Family-run business where you can eat CASSOEULA, and other dishes typical of the region. Good wines. The place is never noisy.

Casso urla is a typical winter dish popular in Northern Italy, mostly in Lombardy. The dish has a strong, decisive flavor. One writer describes it as a noble, ancient Milanese dish ,and writes of the inexpressible pleasure that it furnishes the soul as well as the palate, especially on a wintry day . The way was presented to me here reminded me of my youth when I snuck out on Sundays to my neighbor’s home to taste the grandma’s special winter dish. This is something not many restaurants carry as among the ingredients is a cabbage which just to be perfect has to be from the first frost of the season as it needs to be softer and tender. The restaurant is family owned and managed, and the menu is not extensive but carries a good selection of regional dishes and also good wines. I left very satisfied with the quality and price.

Very nice and Cosy restaurant, not expensive and delicious food. The chef is very kind and helps choosing the most suitable meal.

Location molto caratteristica e cibo squisito. Prezzi più che onesti per la qualità dei piatti. Un gioiellino a Verano, insomma. Assolutamente consigliato!
