Higuera Blanca De Boca - Veracruz

Very expensive, bad service and eating very regularly. There are other options less expensive and tasty.

We finally tried this restaurant, which opened up around a block from our apartment and pushed us on waiting for so long. Food was excellent, attentive service and bright new ambience. I had the Sopa Mariscos (small) and got a bowl filled to overflow with fresh, perfectly cooked fish and shells. Huge fresh shrimps, pieces of octopus and Calamari and a huge plate of fish (robalo I think) that was solid, perfectly boiled and delicious. I think the fish is already swimming today.

When your host, who has lived near this restaurant for perhaps 50 years, says it’s outstanding, well, it must be pretty darn good. And it was. The fish choices are expensive, and everything we ordered was very good. The problem was that I ate too much so by the time the langostinos came, I was tapped out. But I am told that this dish is unique, and very special. It looked like it. Next time I go to Higuera Blanca, I’ll eat less and save room to try...more.

I enjoyed an excellent meal here with colleagues. I had baked the fish in salt, which was excellent. It was something to watch them, the baked fish on the table. Good service all around

The best place to experience veracruz finest seafood. Do not miss the Acamayas, they are a little expensive, but really special and worth it. The place is beautiful and the waiters are very attentive.
