Wood Ranch Bbq Grill - Ventura

You gave me a BBQ Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich with no sauce. Dry pork, dry cabbage. Inedible this dry.

Wow, I hadn't eaten at Wood Ranch in a long time. I'm so happy I decided to go back. The cherry chipotle BBQ flavor was fantastic on the Fire Roasted Half Chicken. The mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were perfectly cooked, fresh, well-seasoned, and incredibly delicious. It was a very satisfying meal, I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.

I am giving this restaurant a 3-star rating because the 2-item combo I ordered was very dry and seemed old. It even tasted like propane or chemicals, which burned my tongue. The food was also not hot. However, the brisket was great.

This restaurant was fantastic. The brisket was tender and the sides were decent. The bread was freshly baked, soft, and warm. Be sure to try both of their BBQ sauces - one is spicy and I loved the heat (it tasted like habanero BBQ). I was impressed that they were able to make the sauce spicy, considering they cater to a group of people in Ventura.

Burger was DELICIOUS!!!! And desserts amazing!
