Contribuiți la feedbackAmazing Mexican food with a wide variety of traditional dishes. The restaurant is small but adorned with beautiful artwork. It is family-owned and operated, conveniently located across from the basilica/mission. Highly recommended.
Indoor dinning available now with 12ft rule in place. Had a wonderful meal today,as usual.
We arrived at the restaurant a bit late on a Friday night, around 8:00pm. Despite the late hour, we were greeted with enthusiasm and served promptly. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious mole and other traditional Oaxacan dishes. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
I love this little gem of a restaurant. Yes, there's only one person working there, but what? he's very efficient and all the years I've been there, I never had a problem. the maul cubes are totally delicious. it's not like your normal Mexican restaurant where there's no crazyness. the menu is limited, so if you are looking for Mexican food, that is more American go somewhere else.
So we walked up on a Sunday evening there was a guy sitting out front staring at his phone. He looked up, took us inside gave us menus. The place was completely empty. We got our drinks checked out the art on the walls while listening to music sung in Spanish. The dude went into the kitchen started cooking. He then brought out our plates. I had the Pollo Borracho (DELICIOUS) my wife had mole with some kind of meat (She loved it). SERIOUSLY GOOD FOOD. We saw another couple looking in mid-meal we told them to come in, the food was terrific. They did. Definitely coming back.
