California Pizza Kitchen - Ventura

I was very disappointed with our experience. We waited a long time without anyone coming to take our order, not even for drinks. Eventually, we decided to leave. I could understand if the restaurant were busy, but it was a slow day, so there really was no excuse for the lack of service.

One night, when there was only one other person in the restaurant, the waitress brought me a cold pizza. I’m serious! I had to insist she replace it with a proper pizza. It’s frustrating that they waste money due to poor service. I’ll continue to come for the free pizza, but I honestly cannot recommend this place based on the service alone. On one occasion, I went to pick up an order and one of the managers completely ignored me while offering drinks to everyone else waiting. Really? I can't help but wonder if this is a racial issue. I didn’t have any confrontations; I was just standing there quietly. I always tip well for good service. When two people did bring me the bread, I tipped them $2 on a free meal. This is my honest assessment of the establishment. They seriously need to improve their customer service training. I would never want anyone to lose their job; I just wish they could do better to avoid these types of reviews!

Visited this place with the costco special $79 for $100 value of CPK. The food was on average with pizza, pasta and service... the service was surprisingly slow as the place was not busy. I had to stand up a few times to remind the server that we needed help

One of my favorite places to go to for dinner. Been to this CPK many times, and I 'm always pleased. Today I got the free Dodger pizza, with a salad for my friend. I picked my favorite non pizza dish. Chicken Tequila Fettuccine is my pick, I prefer green noodles and the creamy jalapeño lime sauce . It works for me.

Came here with my parents on a Sunday and it was our first time ever eating in California Pizza kitchen and we enjoyed it. The pizza is over priced for what your getting but it isn 't cheap either. We ordered the BQQ Chicken Pizza (15.49) and a Hawaiian Pizza (14.99) and we LOVED it. I myself recommend this location 100% and I want to thank our server Robert for being understanding that this was our first time.
