The Rose Venice - Venice Beach

Perhaps one of the worst restaurants, and worst dining experiences, I’ve had in over a decade. The food took over an hour and half to come out and it was mostly inedible. Also, how hard is it to screw up pancakes — yet, they did. If you’re going to take more than an hour to serve, basic food like this, maybe you shouldn’t except Reservations when you’re that busy.If I could give this negative stars, I would give it 50 negative stars. Actually -100. If you’re going to take more than an hour to serve basic food like this, maybe you shouldn’t accept reservations when you’re that busy. Which is also kind of mind-boggling, because a restaurant is bad should be empty. 

$35 lobster roll that literally tasted of. nothing Food arrived before the drinks.

$36 (before tax and tip) for a waffle and butterflied chicken breast was not a good was value. . .Food was OK, but there are better options even a stones throw away.

Rose Cafe is always consistent, innovative and good.

Food was amazing. Server was very helpful in choosing selections.
