Chez Tex - Venice Beach

Chez Tex was great! I went with a group of 10 and we were the only people there. We couldn't figure out why because the food was great! It was nice and quiet for our big group which was great. The food is slightly expensive but it's still good. I would definitely go back

Over rated. Everything average or maybe below. Can't believe how others rate it higher

I was a bit disappointed with the ambiance. The restaurant is smaller than I'd anticipated. We were glad to have a table at the front overlooking the street. The lunch menu wasn't very extensive but we were happy with what we ordered. We happened to strike up a conversation with the diners at the next table and they raved about their food. Our server was very attentive.

The food and service from Sam was amazing! We were a little confused at first as we've walked past this place alot and have wanted to stop by for dinner. We hadn't looked at the menu and assumed it was some kind of boujis Tex Mex. It wasn't! The vegan tacos and the chicken were incredible, and we wanted the risotto but it was sold out. Looking forward to going back, and excited for some updates to the menu, maybe another taco option! Hopefully all the staff are as attentive and friendly as Sam, he was great.

Fantastic wine list, delicious food amazing service! 10 out of 10 would recommend will be returning!
