On a lovely warm evening we had orata grill (whole grilled black sea bream) and a pizza fungi. Both were delicious, perfectly cooked and not expensive. Considering how close this is to San Marco, it’s a great alternative to the tourist trap restaurants closer to the main square.
Hospitals during tough times We just stopped by to have drink. Venice is empty. A lot of people are just mentioning that it’s great to visit an Empty Venice but it’s just sad to see all these terrasses full of empty seats... So we stopped by at Hostaria Galileo, we drunk a good apéritif and we discussed with the team. The owner was so kind to cook and offer a pizza Margherita (by the way very very good). Let’s support local business, owner who works so hard to stand up behind their team and business !!!!
Found this on an early evening walk and decided to stop for our evening meal !! Food very fresh tasting and very good value !! Would definitely visit again on our next trip to Venice !!
