Entre Terre Et Mer - Vendenheim

Overall assessment: It was a festive dinner (starter main course dessert) in the room with meals served at the table. We tested the meals at the restaurant before choosing them for our guests. Everything seemed perfect. And yet... We were offered things to snack on as an aperitif. I was expecting something varied or original. These were small snaks with 2 balls of a single type (sold in the supermarket in large bags of 500g or 1kg). I was ashamed for my guests. As soon as the starter was finished, the service collected the glasses of white wine; therefore impossible to serve as white wine! The main dish was served on the plate with its garnish, whereas during the test the garnish was separate and in abundance. This dish was served with a large delay between the guests (some had finished eating when the neighbor's plate arrived). No specials were offered (although expected from guests, as is done in restaurants during family meals); no meat, no garnish; only 2 small sauciers went around the tables (enough for barely 1/10 of the guests). The cake, served in pieces, was quickly served while there were still pieces that could have been served to our guests (the cake on a table, however, did not bother anyone). Crémant served at the end of the meal, poured while the guests danced while their glasses were still half full. The cafe was struggling to keep up; some did not even receive one. We were told that we could stay after the service started, if the mood was there. All this was no longer true during the evening. The department started clearing everything out and actually waited for everyone to leave (that must have been the orders). At no time during the evening did the bosses show up to ask how everything was going. The restaurant, accessible to other people, was apparently already closed at 10:30 p.m., which would have given them time to come see us. It was the service that took the hit. It is clear that we will not return there again!

We were in this restaurant today, very good and very warm welcome and great dishes both visually and tasting. We will return with great pleasure!! WELL DONE

Restaurant and friendly staff...excellent dishes full of flavors...also try the winter chalets for a friendly time with friends and family...frankly we loved it...

Tasteless seafood platter, deserves to be cooked in broth. Bland mayonnaise. No finger rinse. We tried...
