It wasnt anything out of the ordinary, it was good. The service was really good although the food wasnt so tasty. I expected more..
I was really wondered to know to taste such a tasty food in Vellore. Very tasty food and authentic style. When I spoke to the Chef in the restaurant,he told me that they never use any commercial spices for cooking. Also the Prices are very valuable comparing to other restaurants in Vellore.
What the hell....First when i went tables were empty but they were very dirty with food which were wasted by other people...they asked us to stand and then they cleaned the table. It didnt even stop there food was such a waste...I wasted almost ₹1200 in this restaurant and i regret for it..Please dont go there and i m really telling the truth. u can better go to Hundreds Heritage or Olive Kitchen but please please please never go to this. U will really regret it if u go
On Jan 1st, a bunch of us set out to celebrate the coming of the New Year. Seven Spice is located inside a deserted shopping complex named, "Millinnium." Now, before you decide that, that is strike one, let me tell you things get better. There's a nice glass-walled elevator, and it's a great place to take selfies in.Seven Spices has this nice thatched roof and soft yellow lighting that gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling as you get ready to tuck in. The menu is extensive, and has something for everyone. Continental, Chinese, the classic Indian breads and curries, great sea food, and even good old "veetu saapadu" for those so inclined. The dishes were not cousins in terms of taste, which is definitely the case in China Town. One thing to remember is that Seven Spices' strongest suit is spice. So remember to scoop up all the fried curry leaves and tiny seeds of mustard. Don't orphan them on the corner of your plate, you'll be leaving behind the best bits.Stuff we loved best?? It was a close one between the calamari rings, the seven spice chicken and the reyalu vepudu. Most restaurants manage to dish out really good chicken, but good seafood deserves bonus points. The prawns were healthy, big fellows, not the pin head sized ones you sometimes get. But a word of warning to the vegetarians- there are only a handful of dishes to chose from.As we were soaking our hands in finger bowls, the bill arrived, and it didn't drill a hole in our pockets. We paid around Rs. 250/- per person. A month later, we came back, this time in bigger numbers, to celebrate Saint Valentine's day. The Seven Spices crew arranged a special room just for us (and for the sake of the other people dining there) so that the noise and numbers would be under reasonable control. That day, Seven Spices showed us that they were also consistent. The dishes were just as good, and so what if they take a little extra time making it out of the kitchen and on to our plates? They're just assimilating more flavour. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seven Spices is located on 53, Millinneum Plaza, 5th floor, Thirunagar, Katpadi,Vellore 632 006.
