You can park your car directly under the observation tower in a large parking lot where there are plenty of parking spaces. So you are at the observation tower within 2 minutes. The surroundings of the observation tower are well maintained and everything is easily accessible. The lookout tower with its appearance certainly ranks among the more interesting ones in the Czech Republic. The lookout tower has the shape of a DNA helix, is 36 meters high and you climb 175 steps to the top. In addition, the lookout tower is beautifully illuminated at night. Access to the observation tower is via self-service machines. After climbing to the top, you will have a beautiful view of the city of Velké Meziříčí, the large highway bridge, the D1 highway, the ski slope and the surrounding area. There is a restaurant with the possibility of refreshments next to the lookout tower. Tourist items can be purchased at the info center in Velké Meziříčí. WE RECOMMEND a visit to the Fajtův kopec observation tower!
