Cuidad Sur - Vélez-Málaga

Popular place with outdoor seating. You may have to queue on a Sunday. I have not eaten at a table as I don’t like sitting on my own, but the furniture is basic, the plants around the front look like weeds and it is all a bit unloved IMO. The take away I had was greasy. I did not go back again. (Not even tempted by the Eu8 menu del dia.

Our group of 8 ended up going to this restaurant twice during our stay in Torre del Mar. The food was excellent you get a lot so if you are not hungry, share a dish. The service was great food arrived quickly. The staff is attentive and polite. Great place if you want to eat Chinese food :

Staying in the Sol House we didn't want to walk far for a meal. Went in it was very quiet when we went in. We order the €23.95 meal for 2 I had chicken and sweetcorn soup to start my wife had the spring roll, both were hot and tasty. The crispy duck and pancakes excellent. Both mains were tasty and hot. Service was just right to give a break between courses. The creme caramel although not home made was a nice finish to the meal. We enjoyed it so much we made a second visit before we came home.

What a disappointment. The service was good. The Chinese salad was excellent, the soup passable, as was the special fried rice. The rest was garbage... Chicken curry, Babi Pangang, Chicken with Bamboo Mushrooms. These all lacled flavour and texture. The Pangang was supposed to be spicy. Yuk I cannot commend this to anyone. Except maybe drunk tourists. Whilst the portions in the Shanghai are smaller, the food is outstanding. This place is cheap and best avoided. Stay at home have a sandwich

This is by far the worse chinese I have ever experienced!. The wait was ridiculous, the family did nothing but argue. The food well where shall I start, I don't think you can call it food it was completely tasteless. It was like rubber, such a waste of money I have nothing good to say. Please avoid save your money, it's poor quality really isn't suited to the area given the quality of hotels it surrounds. Basically don't bother!...
