Came here last year, impressed at that time and ditto, impressed again. service is timely and unfussy; eating is delectable, really well cooked. the starters were particularly impressive. as always the zanginess was beautifully spiced and filled, although the cousin seemed a little bit spicy, would have benefited from something more. yet a nice, pleasant evening.

Our friend and host Gerard recommended this North African restaurant. Had a superb evening. The lamb tagine and cous cous were beautifully cooked. I know how difficult it is to cook the perfect cous cous and this was majestic. The wife enjoyed her meal immensely. The service was unhurried and the atmosphere was relaxed and sedate. Will be back when we return to Royan in August.
