The coffee place is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate wheelchair as it is spacious indeed. The parking lot for handicap is right at the door if anyone has mobility...issues. there is a sign wait to be seated. The waitress said we can sit wherever we liked. They were so happy we arrived. The time was 630 p.m. We just ate at Marcellos and thought we would stop here. This place is right at the same plaza at the corner. We sat near the door at a large comfortable booth . However, we couldn't wait to look at the desserts. Wow many choices of desserts and gelato. I opted from eating cake and couldn't get my eyes off the delicious ice cream. We were told that we can have a sample of any of the ice cream on display. I am lactose intolerant but who can resist. I chose the lemon sorbet as always. So we ordered three cappuccinos one decaf. A lava cake with vanilla ice cream. One lemon sherbet and a cannoli. Our cappuccinos were cold not even lukewarm. We asked to have it warmed up. To our surprise they made us new cappuccinos and it was so delicious and very strong. Wow that was really nice of them. The waitress was super super friendly and very attentive to our needs. Our deserts were delicious. People were coming in at this point and were not only ordering dessert but pizza. The washroom was a single large washroom wheelchair accessible. Our bill came to $38 plus tip for three cappuccinos, lava cake with ice cream two scoop lemon sorbet and a cannoli.
We ordered an evening meal for 10 for a nearby meeting and were impressed by the attention to detail. The calf, chicken, and eggplant sandwiches were a hit! We will definitely be using them again in the future.
Plus 1) the personal was friendly 2) some of the baked looks appetit 3) classic suburban italian modern caffe feeling minus 1) cappuccino was bad the fret was more like blase bad scum 2) staff massiw overstretched 3) pricey given what they get
Great place for an Italian style breakfast of croissants and coffee and also some very good lunch and dinner choices. I’ve enjoyed a few of their pasta dishes but if you like simple healthy meals then their soups as well as the grilled chicken served...with two sides are fantastic. My favourite two sides are their mashed potatoes and vegetables. When I order side vegetables in most restaurants, I find them bland and the portion is very small. At Faema, they are delicious and they give you a very generous amount. Overall, a great place that I keep going back to again and again!
I came here once after eating dinner at Marcellos, just a couple doors down. They had good dessert. I had a tiramisu and a cappuccino. Would come again and would recommend
