Excellent service and quality of food. since they were opened a year or so, they soon made great improvements.

We were very often at the smoke in collingwood. we decided to spend it in vaughn for our jubilee. the service was terrible, did not get any refills in drinks, waitress spent more time on her phone as she served us. we were not offered whisper, we asked for a pull-out container and was given nothing, the waitress was too busy sms to ask us how our meal was. eating was not close to the quality of the location in collingwood. the pulled boar was water logged fat. the wings were boiled. the makkaroni dripping wet, not cheesy. Maybe it was wrong? we will be back to the Collingwood site, but never vaughn

Solidly good bbq, casual bar atmosphere with a modest selection of craftsmen would come back happy.

The prices are quite high for the smaller portion sizes. The platter I ordered was supposed to include a third of a rack of ribs, but it turned out to be just the thin edge with only three bones—at most, it's more like a quarter rack. The brisket was dry, but the sauces were excellent and really enhanced the flavor of the meat. It's a nice spot, but there are definitely better choices for quality BBQ elsewhere. I'm not sure if I would return.

The service was very slow. After 15 minutes, we had to ask for someone to take our order. Then after sitting around with all our dirty plates in front of us, we had to track someone down to ask for the bill. The food was just there, nothing exciting on the menu and flavours were muted. Short of the sauce, I really couldn't taste much on the plate. The cornbread was completely lack lustre. I don't get it. It is not that hard to spice, sweeten or just add texture. Nothing was there.
