Green Ginger Chinese - Vashon

A good visit for Chinese food in Vashon. A great go-to space for Chinese foods that is reliable, fast and comfortable. I usually go to lunch specialties.<br/ <br/ staff are relaxed and friendly. You will usually come and wait a minute or so until someone comes out and invites you to sit anywhere as you want. Spacious dining area with many seating and windows all around. Hot tea is applied immediately. <br/ <br/ The food is not high quality, but affordable and most dishes come with a selection of small soup and good portions for the participants. I particularly like their willingness to make substitutions (such as shrimp for chicken on the green bean bowl) without foot or supplement. You may need to be clear and cautious in explaining these requests depending on the server, but they are always nice about it. My favorite dish actually added the chicken noodle soup with shrimps, but many of the dishes are decent. I often also have the fried egg roll remover that is always hot and tasty.

The food is basic American cuisine. Nothing special, but not bad. But the service is unforgettable terrible. The experience could have been much better if the waiter actually had the same effort to his guests as he sat and visited with his friend.

Good food great portions. This place had good service, good Mongolian beef/orange chicken and very good portion sizes (dinner plates).
